It's just this strangest thing, I've seen your face somewhere. An early evening dream? A past life love affair?

It was her third day at office.  Among the facilities she was supposed to get free transport but she came to know there were limited seats in the bus and she had to hurry to secure her place.  She had been running from one building to the other to make her seat secured.  Finally, she got the approval, but she was almost about to miss the bus for that day.

It was too late.  She was walking so fast to catch the bus.  Her pace was slower than usual, due to the heavy laptop in one hand and her hand bag on the other.  The heat was quite unbearable that day.  With her fair complexion, her face reddened, may be by the heat, probable concern of missing the bus or heavy breathing due to climbing too many stairs!

There was the bus, still standing.  And there he was, standing near the bus, probably waiting for his.  She saw him before.  Didn't know his name.  In fact, knew nothing about him.  She never had a chance to talk to him either.  They both stared at each other while she was walking towards the bus.  It was long stare, as if they had a connection for few seconds.  She was wondering if he was staring at her because she was looking pretty exhausted.  It suddenly occurred to her how could she not notice before, how incredibly attractive he was!

She looked down.  Crossed him and got on the bus.  The bus started.  She was looking out from the window and there was this smile on one corner of her lips.  It's been a while since she experienced such a smile.  And it continued for a while.

  2. @ Sanket: Thanks! Finally, someone commented! :P

I neither do believe in something special. It's special if you have the intention to make it special. This post is more about that glimpse of a moment kind of thing. You know, that comes and passes away leaving you with a positive feeling for a while. :)

  3. These are the thoughts of 'your' age. Everyone go through these experiences, but not everyone expresses. The blog and the quoted section are well connected. All the best.

  4. @ Raheem sir: Nah! I'm too old now. Would be 26 next year. These are talks of a college girl. Weirdly I still act like a college girl! Mentally immature, you know! :P

Is that weird or unaccepted if someone expresses such thoughts? As this heart didn't come with instructions, it's too hard for me not to pen down any thought that crosses my mind, whether they are meaningful or not.

And thank you. I hope that "All the best" was for a brighter future and has nothing to do with that attractive guy. Because I'm pretty much committed to my best friend. :P

Firstly, its not unacceptable to be expressive. Perhaps, what meant is that not everyone can express it.

Secondly, all the best is for the phase you are in, as you'd commented on my last post (on my blog).

I cannot express my thoughts, you see! :P

  6. @ Raheem sir: Thanks. I got this compliment from some other friends too... being very expressive. That's a skill I have! :D
